The village of Tideswell lies in the heart of the “White Peak” limestone plateau in the Peak District National Park.
The village is located approximately midway between the market towns of Bakewell (8 mile southeast) and Buxton (7 miles northwest).Tideswell is served principally by the A623, which connects with the A619 (and M1) at Chesterfield and the A6 at Bakewell to Buxton road.
Sunnylea is situated on Queen Street, just off Fountain Square, immediately next to the Fountain Square Church and opposite Hnd’s Bistro.
